The 100cc and 110cc segment of entry-level bikes in India is the segment with the highest selling bikes. So, all the leading bike manufacturers are selling their best bikes in this 100cc and 110cc segment. Let’s see which are the 100cc and 110cc bikes currently on sale in the Indian bike market.
Hero Splendor Series:
If you ask which is the most loved and best selling bike in India, you can close your eyes and point to Hero’s Splendor bike. This is a bike for the middle class. Under this Splendor series, Hero is selling two 100cc bikes namely Splendor Plus and Splendor Plus Xtec. The Splendor Plus bike is priced at Rs 75,591 ex-showroom with a 97.2cc engine producing 7.9hp and the Splendor Xtec bike with slightly more features is priced at Rs 80,000 ex-showroom.
TVS Sport:
TVS is selling a sport bike in the Indian commuter bike segment with a 109.7cc engine that churns out 8.18hp of power. With a mileage of 70 kmpl, the TVS Sport is one of the highest mileage bikes sold in India. The electric start sports bike is priced at Rs 60,000 ex-showroom in India.
Bajaj Platina 100 and 110:
With a mileage of 72 kmpl, the Bajaj Platina series bikes are also being sold as one of the high mileage bikes. The Platina 100 gets a 102cc engine that churns out 7.79hp while the Platina 110 gets a 115.45cc engine that churns out 8.48hp. The Platina 100 is priced at Rs 70,000 ex-showroom, the Platina 110 model with drum brake is priced at Rs 71,000 ex-showroom and the Platina 110 model with ABS is priced at Rs 80,000 ex-showroom.
Honda Shine 100:
Honda is selling the Shine model in the 100cc bike segment in India. Honda has used a 98cc engine that produces 7.38hp power in this bike. This bike model that can give a mileage of up to 65 kmpl is being sold in India at a price of Rs.65,000 ex-showroom.
Hero HF 100 and HF Deluxe:
Following the Splendor series, Hero also sells the HF series commuter bikes in India with the same engine used in that bike. These bikes are priced slightly lower than the Splendor starting at Rs 60,000 ex-showroom. These HF series commuter model bikes give a mileage of up to 65 kmpl on par with the Splendor.
TVS Radeon:
Another computer model sold by TVS in India is the Radeon. TVS has used a 109.7cc engine in this bike that churns out 8.08hp of power. The bike returns a mileage of 73 kmpl which is slightly less than the Sport model. The base variant of the Radeon model is priced at Rs 62,000 ex-showroom. The Radeon is also sold in Digi Drum and Digi Disc variants. Their ex-showroom prices are Rs 77,000 and Rs 81,000 respectively.
Bajaj CT 110X:
Bajaj, which earlier sold the CT110 model, now only sells its slightly upgraded version, the CT110X model. The same 115.45cc engine that churns out 8.48hp of the previous bike is used in the CT 110X. This model, which can give a mileage of up to 70 km, is being sold in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs.70,000. Also, the CT 110X will have a slightly more rugged look than the regular CT 110 model.
Honda CD 110 Deluxe:
The CD 110 Deluxe is the commuter bike model that Honda is selling in the 110 cc segment in India. The model is powered by a 109.51 cc engine that churns out 8.67hp of power and delivers a mileage of up to 60 kmpl. This model is being sold at an ex-showroom price of Rs.74,000 in India.
TVS Star City Plus:
TVS has used the same 109.7cc engine that churns out 8.08hp power used in their Radeon model, in their other commuter bike model, the Star City Plus. TVS is selling this bike at an ex-showroom price of Rs.73,000, with a mileage of up to 70 km.
Hero Fashion Series:
Like the Splendor bike series, Hero is selling two bike models in the Passion series namely Passion Plus and Passion Xtec. In India, Hero is selling the Passion Xtec model in the 110cc bike segment and the Passion Plus in the 100cc segment. While the 97cc engine is used in the Passion Plus, the 113cc engine is used in the Passion Xtec. Hero offers charging port, Digi analog instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity on these XTec bikes.
