Student Suicide : So far 7 students have committed suicide in Telangana due to failure in school exams.
The Telangana Board of School Education declared the results of the 11th and 12th class exams on April 24. This exam was held last February and March. About 9.8 lakh students from all over the state appeared for this examination.
According to the results released the day before yesterday, the pass rate of class 11 students is 61.06 percent (2.87 lakh students). Next, the pass rate for Class 12 students is 9.46 percent (3.22 lakh students).
Since the announcement of the results of the school examination till now, there have been sad news that 7 students have died. First, a girl student died in Tandar area of Manjeri district. Again in the same district the news of the death of 2 more students has come out.
Also in Mahabubabad area 2 female students committed suicide after failing the exam. Next, 1 student in the eastern part of the same district, 1 student in Nallagunda area was found dead near the railway tracks in Jarsherla area.
According to Telangana Police, the deceased students sought their final end in various ways such as hanging, jumping into a well and drowning in a pond.
