But despite that, a giant wave dragged 5 trainee medical students into the sea today who were bathing at Rajakamalangalam Lemur Beach in Kanyakumari. They died in this. This has created a big shock in Kanyakumari. Prior to this, a 7-year-old girl who was caught in a giant wave in Thenkaipatnam sea yesterday was recovered dead today.
In this regard, Kanyakumari District Collector Sridhar said, “There is a lot of roughness in the sea of Kanyakumari. The Meteorological Department has not yet lifted the red alert for this. So no tourists should go near the sea. Fishermen have also been warned not to go to the sea.
Due to the high roughness of the sea, even the disaster rescuers It is not possible to go to the sea. Therefore, we warn the public not to go near the sea, realizing that the situation is not good,” he said.
