Big Gooseberry – 7
Sugar – 200 grams
Ghee – 100 ml
Cardamom powder – little
Cashews – 10
Kesari powder – a pinch
Gooseberry Alva Recipe:
To make gooseberry alva, first pour two tamlars of water in a vessel and put it on the stove and let it boil. Now put the big gooseberry in the boiling water and soak it for half an hour. After half an hour, peel it, remove its seeds and add it to the mixer and grind it.
After that add a little ghee in a pan and fry the ground gooseberry paste. Then add the sugar we have taken and stir. After the sugar melts, add the saffron powder and stir once more.
Now pour the remaining ghee in another vessel and roast the cashews and take it separately.
Meanwhile stir the alva frequently. After the alva thickens add cardamom powder and cashew nuts and stir it.
Now the delicious Gooseberry Alva is ready.
