Former ADMK Minister RB Udayakumar has given an explanation regarding the reports that former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam is going to be reinstated in ADMK.
RB Udayakumar, former minister of ADMK and deputy leader of opposition in Madurai, met and spoke to the media.
Speaking then, RP Udayakumar said, “The reports of O. Panneerselvam’s reinstatement in ADMK are not true. ADMK has never faced so many cases in its history. O. Panneerselvam is the one who has faced many cases. OPS has been filing various cases against ADMK for his personal gain.
OPS is the one who made Pilliyar spin for ADMK split. He planned to split the ADMK as he had no position. Considering the importance and welfare of the party, OPS was re-merged in ADMK. He will deny or remain silent on the major decisions of ADMK.
ADMK went backwards due to the actions of OPS. Rabindranath’s victory in Theni in the last parliamentary elections was the victory of ADMK and not the victory of OPS.
In what way can OPS be accepted against double leaf?. OPS was involved in digging a hole and burying ADMK. The media is reporting without any evidence that there is a plan to include OPS in ADMK after the parliamentary elections. There is no truth in the news that O. Panneerselvam is going to join ADMK again. Edappadi Palaniswami is leading the ADMK based on the ideas of the volunteers. I am saying with the approval of ADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palanichamy that O. Panneerselvam will not be merged with ADMK at any time.
