Delhi: Retired Supreme Court judges have written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Chandrachud today as the parliamentary election results are to be announced tomorrow (June 4).

In that, the Election Commission should uphold the country’s democracy in the election results that will be released tomorrow. If there is a problem regarding the election results, the Election Commission should act to solve it immediately. Not satisfied with the action taken by the Election Commission despite insisting many times to conduct the election fairly.

If there is any problem in the counting of votes, the Supreme Court should intervene immediately. If there is a hung parliament, the coalition that was together before the election should be invited. The former judges have written to the President and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court with various demands that the Election Commission should ensure that no problems arise until the new government takes over.
