Madhya Pradesh: While 3 people have died in the case of sexual assault on a Dalit woman, the victim has died in an ambulance accident.
Vikram Singh sexually assaulted a Dalit woman in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar area in 2019. Vikram Singh was arrested in this case. Vikram Singh’s gang had threatened the victim and her family by beating up the victim and threatening to withdraw the case. A case was registered at the Sagar area police station and a case was registered against a 15-year-old boy (as of 2019), Asad Thakur, Vishal Thakur, Pushpendra Thakur and Chotu Raikwar.
After this, it is said that Vikram Singh’s gang continued to harass and threaten the victim’s family by asking them to withdraw the case. In August last year, the woman’s 18-year-old brother Nitin Akirwar was beaten to death by a mob. In this regard, 9 persons have been booked under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, murder case under various sections. Vikram Thakur, Vijay Thakur, Azad Thakur, Komal Thakur, Lalu Khan, Islam Khan, Golu Soni, Nabeez Khan and Waheed Khan were booked and arrested.
Following this, a mob also attacked the relative of the victim, Rajender Agriwar, on Saturday. In this, the woman’s relative died without treatment. Based on the family’s complaint, the police have registered a case of murder against 5 people namely Ashiq Qureshi, Bablu Bena, Israel Bena, Faheem Khan and Dandu Qureshi. One of them was reportedly arrested.
After this, the deceased relative brought the victim’s body in the ambulance. In the accident, the victim died after falling from the ambulance. Thus, 3 murders in a rape case and the death of the victim in a mysterious accident have created a sensation in Madhya Pradesh.
