மன்னாரில் இருந்து பேசாலை நோக்கி பயணித்த பொலிஸ் டிபென்டர் ரக வாகனமும், பேசாலை வீதியூடாக மன்னார் நோக்கி மோட்டார் சைக்கிளில் பயணித்த மோட்டார் சைக்கிளும் ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்று மோதி விபத்து இடம்பெற்றுள்ளதாக பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்தனர்.
குறித்த விபத்தின் போது மோட்டார் சைக்கிளில் பயணித்த இளைஞர் வீதியில் தூக்கி வீசப்பட்ட நிலையில், படுகாயமடைந்துள்ளார்.
இதனையடுத்து வீதியால் சென்றவர்களின் உதவியுடன் மீட்கப்பட்டு மன்னார் மாவட்ட பொது வைத்தியசாலைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
எனினும் குறித்த நபர் சிகிச்சை பலனின்றி உயிரிழந்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது.
