More than 30 people who were treated at Kallakurichi Hospital were sent to Salem, Puducherry and Villupuram hospitals for further treatment.
Those who were sent for further treatment and those who were being treated at Kallakurichi Government Medical College Hospital are also dying. So far 49 people have died without treatment. Also, 90 people are undergoing treatment in Kallakurichi, Salem, Villupuram and Puducherry government hospitals.
