Announcement of special buses! Are you ready to go to town?

Special buses will be run from Chennai to various parts of Tamil Nadu on the occasion of New Moon and weekends. Special buses are usually run to avoid overcrowding in buses during regular holidays, weekends and festivals and for the convenience of the public. Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporation has announced that special buses will be run on the occasion of the coming week holiday and Amavasai.

Special bus
Accordingly, it is expected that more people will travel from Chennai to other places in Tamil Nadu on July 5th (new moon) and 6th and 7th (week holidays). Therefore, keeping this in mind, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation has planned to run special buses in addition to the daily buses.

Chennai Clambakkam Bus Stand
Accordingly, 415 buses will be operated on the 5th and 310 buses will be operated on the 6th from Chennai Klambakkam bus station to Thiruvannamalai, Trichy, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Tirupur.

Koyambedu
Similarly, 55 buses will be operated from Coimbatore to Thiruvannamalai, Nagai, Velankanni, Hosur, Bengaluru on 5th and 55 buses will be operated from the above mentioned places on 6th.

Special bus to various places
It is planned to run 200 special buses from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Bangalore to various destinations.

Transport Corporation
30 buses will be operated from Chennai Koyambedu Bus Station to Tiruvannamalai, 15 buses on 5th and 15 buses on 6th. According to the transport corporation, special buses will be run from all places to facilitate return from hometowns to Chennai and Bangalore.
