The 12th class general examination for the academic year 2023-24 in Tamil Nadu started on March 1. It ended on March 22. The 10th class general examination was held from March 26 to April 8. The date for public examination schedule and results has already been decided and the school education department has accelerated the work accordingly.
12th Class Exam Results
As Lok Sabha elections are taking place this year, schools have acted as polling stations and teachers as polling officers. They ensured that the correcting of the answer sheet was not affected in any way. In this case, the 12th class exam results were released on May 6. Out of which 94.56 percent passed.
Class 10 Exam Results
It includes 96.44 percent girls and 92.37 percent boys. A total of 2,478 schools secured a record of 100 percent pass. It includes 397 government schools. The pass percentage of government schools is 91.32 percent. Then on May 10th, the results of class 10th exam were released.
100 percent pass in government schools
Out of which 91.55 percent passed. 94.53 percent pass percentage for girls and 88.58 percent for male candidates. More than 32 percent of the schools as a whole achieved 100 percent pass. That means, out of 12,625 schools, 4,105 schools have passed. Out of which the number of government schools is 1,364. 87.90 percent students passed in government schools.
Appreciation Ceremony for Head Teachers
In this case, the school education department has decided to hold an appreciation ceremony for the school headmasters who have passed 100 percent in the general examination of classes 10 and 12. In the notification published in this regard, it has been informed that a formal appreciation ceremony for the head teachers will be held in Chennai. It is expected to be a motivation for the head teachers of government schools.
