Kumbabhishek works
In this case, for the past two years, various works were being carried out to perform Kumbabishekam at Ulagalanda Perumal temple. Now the work for Kumbabhishekam is in full swing and all the work is about to be completed.
Yagasala Pujas
Sri Ulagalanda Perumal Sannidhi, Aranavallith Thayar Sannidhi, Rajagopuram and Vimanas have been renovated and painted. Yagasala Pujas are going to start on 25th when six Yagasala Gundams will be set up in the temple premises in connection with the Maha Kumbabhishekam.
Maha Kumbabhishekam
On the first day, there will be a one-time Yagasala Puja, followed by two Yaga Shali Pujaikas for the next two days. The Maha Kumbabhishekam of this temple is scheduled to take place on August 28 (Wednesday) at 10:30 am.
Tamil Nadu Hindu Welfare Minister Shekhar Babu, Tamil Nadu Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Mo. Anparasan, senior officials of Hindu Welfare Department and local government representatives will participate in the Kumbabhishek event of this temple.
