Telugu Desam Party leader Chandrababu Naidu has won a landslide victory in the recent assembly and parliamentary elections in Andhra Pradesh. He has now become a determining force in Indian politics.
Chandrababu Naidu, a member of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, has won 25 parliamentary constituencies and 175 assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh, defeating Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The BJP formed an alliance with the Jana Sena to defeat YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy, who had a strong presence in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu’s strategy succeeded.
YSR in 2019 election The Congress won a landslide victory in 175 seats. The party also won 22 parliamentary constituencies. Telugu Desam won only 23 seats in the Assembly in 2019 and Chandrababu Naidu has been sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time.
The National Democratic Alliance has secured 163 seats out of a total of 175 seats in the recently concluded assembly elections.
Jagan Mohan’s YRS Congress got just 12 seats.
During Chandrababu Naidu’s student days in 1974, former Chief Minister N.D. Joined Ramara’s Telugu Desam Party. He became the leader of the party after the death of NT Ramara.
Currently in Andhra Pradesh, along with the Lok Sabha elections, the state assembly elections were held on May 13 in a single phase.
In this, the two-sided competition between YRS Congress party, Telugu Desam, Janasena and BJP alliance was fierce. The counting of votes was held yesterday. The Telugu Desa alliance got a total of 163 seats in the assembly elections. At the same time, the YSR Congress suffered a crushing defeat by winning only 12 seats.

All but one minister failed. The Telugu Desam Alliance has won more seats in the Lok Sabha elections as well. Out of total 25 Lok Sabha constituencies, Telugu Desam won 16 seats, Bharatiya Janata Party 3 seats and Janasena 2 seats. YS R. Congress has won only 4 seats.
