Tata Tiago
The Tiago is Tata’s cheapest entry-level car. The ICE model is priced at Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 8.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The car is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 85 BHP of power and 113 NM of torque. It also gets a 5-speed manual gearbox, AMT transmission, CNG option etc.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Maruti Suzuki’s small hatchback Celerio is priced from Rs 5.37 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 7.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Although we cannot buy its top model car, we can buy the entry level car.
It is powered by a 1.0 liter petrol engine that produces 66 BHP of power and 89 NM of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, AMT transmission.
Renault Kwid
Renault’s entry-level Kiwit is priced at Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 6.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that churns out 68 PS of power and 91 NM of torque. It is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission.
Maruti Suzuki S Presso
The S Presso is available with the same engine options as the Alto K10. It is priced at Rs 4.26 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 6.11 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10
Although the Alto 800 has been discontinued in India, the 1000cc K10 is still sold today. It is the entry level car of Maruti Suzuki. It is priced at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 5.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 1.0 liter K10C petrol engine produces 67 PS of power and 89 NM of torque. It will be available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. It has a CNG engine that produces 57 PS of power and 82 NM of torque, with a 5-speed manual gear option.
