Mukurtam and Weekend Holidays:
It has been announced that 1,545 special buses will be operated from Chennai Kalamakkam and Koyambedu bus station to various parts of Tamil Nadu from May 17 to 19.
Special buses from 17th May:
In this regard, the notification issued by the Tamil Nadu Transport Department said, “Special buses will be operated from May 17 to 19 in view of Mukurtam and weekend holidays.
According to this, special buses will be run from Klambach to major parts of Tamil Nadu including Coimbatore, Madurai, Nellai, Trichy and Salem in addition to the buses already running.
From Clambake:
Accordingly, 555 buses will be operated from Klambach on 17th May, 645 buses on 18th May and 280 buses on 19th May.
From Coimbatore:
Also 65 special buses will be operated from Coimbatore to Nagai Hosur Bangalore for three days.
Not only this, it is also planned to run special buses on Sunday, May 19, for the convenience of passengers returning from their hometowns to Chennai and other areas.
