Sachin’s neighbor Dilip D’Souza wrote on his X website, “Dear Sachin, It’s 9pm now and the cement mixer machine is still there outside your Bandra house making a lot of noise all day. It’s making a lot of noise till now. Please let the workers in your house have a reasonable time. Can you please comply? Thank you very much.” He posted that and complained to Sachin.
Dear @sachin_rtit’s nearly 9pm and the cement mixer that’s been outside your Bandra home all day making a loud noise is still there, still making a loud noise.
Please could you ask the people working on your home to stick to reasonable hours? Thank you so much.— Dilip D’Souza (@DeathEndsFun) May 5, 2024
While Dilip D’Souza posted this post yesterday on Sunday, he posted on Monday yesterday that he received a call from Sachin Tendulkar’s office explaining the restrictions and efforts they have taken to keep noise to a minimum.
Dilip D’Souza wrote in his post, “Following this, I received a very kind call from someone at Sachin’s office this afternoon. He explained their controls and efforts to keep noise to a minimum. He also listened patiently to what I had to say. Not listening.” posted that.
As a followup, I got a very gracious call this afternoon from someone at the office of @sachin_rt. He explained their constraints and the efforts they are making to keep noise to a minimum, and gave me a patient hearing.
Far more than I can say about the other noisemakers here.— Dilip D’Souza (@DeathEndsFun) May 6, 2024
This post of his is getting shared and viral among cricket fans. In response, some even praised him for bringing the issue to social media. “But who will compensate you for the mental anguish and inconvenience you have suffered for days. If it was the US or the UK you could have sued and got compensation,” another user posted.
