Many devotees visit not only from Tamil Nadu but also from abroad. On the important days of Panguni, Uttaram, Vaikasi Visakham and Thaipusam, devotees perform padayatras to pay the fine debt, and now schools are on summer vacation, so a large number of devotees from Kerala have visited.

As it was Mugurtha day, a large number of devotees were seen at Giri Adiwaram, bus station and other areas. There is a traffic jam in the city. The police fixed it. Crowds were seen at places like Elephant Path, Stepway, Electric Traction Railway Station, Rope Car etc.
