50th and 100th films are very special for screen celebrities. No matter how special those films are, fans will celebrate the film only if it becomes a hit. Otherwise they will easily forget. So every hero chooses stories very carefully in his 25th, 50th, 100th film. In that way, actor Ajith’s 50th film Mangattha was a huge hit. Similarly, Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film Maharaja received a mixed response. Will Dhanush’s next film Rayan, directed by himself, be a hit for him? Let’s see that.
Dhanush starrer Raayan is releasing worldwide today (July 26). Dhanush’s villain is played by SJ Suriya in this film. Sandeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Tushara Vijayan, Selvaraghavan and Aparna Balamurali have acted along with him.
Sandeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram play Dhanush’s brothers in the film. Tushara Vijayan has played the role of younger sister. Both Dhanush’s mother and father leave after asking him to take care of his younger brother and sister. Actor Dhanush goes to the village priest and asks for help as both of them do not return home after two days. But when the priest tries to sell Dhanush’s younger sister, Dhanush fights with the priest and at one point takes a knife in his hand and cuts the priest. So Dhanush goes to another town with his brother and sister as he is not safe in this town and asks Selvaraghavan for help. Dhanush is working there and taking care of his brothers and sisters. While the four are living happily, a problem arises in the family due to Sandeep Kishan. Due to this the Dada gang tries to kill Sandeep Kishan. Due to this, there is an enmity and the movie Rayan moves as a revenge story.
According to the information already released in this film, there are many violent scenes in it. Each character is given importance. Accordingly Tushara Vijayan’s character is much talked about. Sandeep Kishan’s character is similar to Dhanush. SJ Suriya has played a smart villain in the film instead of a mean villain. The clash between Dhanush and SJ Suriya is well shot without being boring at all. Accordingly, SJ Surya is better in the second half than in the first half. And the film is not overly dramatic or sentimental. Although the first half of the film goes slow, the second half moves interestingly. More than that, Interval Block gives goosebumps to fans. AR Rahman’s BGM forms the backbone of the film. Despite being a typical revenge story, this film has fulfilled the expectations of the fans. Could have focused more on the climax scenes though. And there are no unnecessary scenes. Therefore, Dhanush’s 50th film is moving towards success by attracting fans.
