Phase 2 Election: Elections will be held tomorrow in 89 constituencies in 13 states including Kerala and Karnataka.
While the Lok Sabha elections are being held in 7 phases across the country, the first phase of the election was completed on Friday last week (April 19). Following this, the second phase of elections will be held tomorrow (April 26) for 89 Lok Sabha constituencies in 13 states.
While campaigning in all 89 Lok Sabha constituencies was conducted by storm, the collection of votes (campaign) from the people ended at 5 o’clock yesterday evening. For the past two days, the ruling party and the opposition Congress have been criticizing each other, which has heated up the election cell.
Elections in 13 states tomorrow
Voting is taking place in the states of Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Jammu & Kashmir.

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi Kerala State (Wayanadu Constituency), Shashi Tharoor, Actor and Politician Suresh Gobi Kerala State (Thrichur BJP Candidate), Union Ministers Rajeev Chandrasekhar Kerala State (Thiruvananthapuram Constituency), Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, West Bengal BJP President Sukanda Majumdar (Balurgad) Constituency), former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Bagel (Pathan Constituency).
Two-time MP from Uttar Pradesh state (Meerut Constituency) and Bollywood actress Hema Malini – Uttar Pradesh State (Madura Constituency) are contesting for their respective constituencies.
