Election2024 : Prime Minister Modi has criticized that Rahul is contesting in Rae Bareli out of fear of failure.
An important event took place today in the field of parliamentary elections. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is re-contesting the constituency he already won in Wayanad, Kerala, where the election was concluded on April 26. After that, Rahul Gandhi is contesting in another constituency like the 2019 election.
While Rahul Gandhi was already expected to contest from the Amethi constituency which he had won from 2004 to 2014, Rahul Gandhi has filed his nomination today as it has been announced that he will contest from the Rae Bareli constituency which was won by Sonia Gandhi from 2004 to 2019. It is noteworthy that Rahul Gandhi lost to Union Minister Smriti Irani in Amethi constituency in 2019.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has criticized Rahul Gandhi for contesting from another constituency instead of Amethi, where he has won many times. Speaking at a rally held in West Bengal’s Burdaman, Prime Minister Modi said that because of the fear of defeat in Wayanad, where the polling ended recently, Congress prince Rahul Gandhi is now standing elsewhere, and I had already said that this would happen.
Prime Minister Modi also said, ‘Raebareli constituency is not a succession constituency for Congress. There too he has the same responsibility and democratic duty.’ Prime Minister Modi said.
