Chennai : A boy who was swept away by the flood in Kurdalam Old Waterfall was rescued as a dead body
Ashwin, a boy (17) from Nella, was swept away by flash floods while bathing in Tenkasi Old Courtala waterfall. The incident where the dead body was recovered has caused a great tragedy. While many districts of Tamil Nadu are already experiencing heavy rains, due to the heavy rains in the Western Ghats, Tenkasi There was a flood at the Old Courtala Falls.
Due to the sudden flood, all the tourists who came to bathe ran away screaming. In this sudden flood Ashwin, a 17-year-old boy from Nella, was abducted. While taking a bath with his family, he was swept away.
Following this, the police and fire department rushed to the spot and started searching for the boy who was swept away by the flood. After 3 hours of searching, the body of the boy was recovered. When the forest officials visited a certain place, it was found that the boy’s body was there.
The boy’s body was recovered about half a kilometer from the waterfall. His body has now been sent to Tenkasi Government Hospital for post-mortem. The incident of the boy’s death after being caught in the flood and swept away has caused tragedy.
