Former Kalutara District MP and Deputy Minister Palitha Kumara Thewarapperuma has handed away on the age of 64, yesterday night (16).

It’s reported that he has been electrocuted whereas making an attempt to attach two electrical circuits at his dwelling and has succumbed after being admitted to the Nagoda hospital, in line with household sources.

Born on Might 3, 1960, Palitha Thewarapperuma was a Sri Lankan politician, former Member of Parliament of the United Nationwide Celebration from Kalutara and was a former Deputy Minister of inner Affairs, Wayamba Growth and Cultural Affairs within the United Nationwide Celebration led nationwide authorities in 2015.
