In this, all Indian citizens above the age of 70 will be provided with free medical treatment under the Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme. He said that 55 crore Indians have been benefited under this Ayushman Bharat Prime Minister’s Health Insurance scheme so far.
Under the Ayushman Bharat Medical Insurance scheme, a family below the poverty line will get a medical cover of up to 5 lakhs per annum. Information has been received that 12 crore families have been benefited by this.
