Ilaiyaraaja : Ilayaraja has sent a notice to the producer of ‘Kooli’ for using the song without permission.
Kooli is a film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring actor Rajinikanth. This movie is produced by famous production company Sun Pictures. Music composer Anirudh is composing the music for the film. The title teaser for this movie was released a few days back.
This Coolie title teaser features the music of the song ‘Va Wa Pabhaga Va’ which was featured in Rajinikanth’s earlier film Thangamagan. Ilayaraja composed the music for Thangamagan. After this, he has sent a notice to the film’s production company that the music is being used in Coolie teaser without his permission.
Proper permission should be obtained to use the music of the song ‘Wa Wa Paaga Wa’ which is featured in the coolie teaser. If you don’t buy that then you should remove that music from that teaser. Ilayaraja’s side has also stated in the notice that if nothing is done, they have all the rights to take legal action.
