Weather Update: Kathari Veil, which is said to be Agni Nakshatra in Tamil Nadu, begins tomorrow.
Agni Nakshatra Veil called “Kathtri Veil” will start from tomorrow. It is usually during the hot season of Kathri that the heat is intense.
But since the 2nd week of March this year, many places in Tamil Nadu have been affected by the heat. Agni Nakshatra begins tomorrow and ends on the 28th. Officials have advised people to avoid going out during noon on these days.
Therefore, weathermen have suggested that this time Agni Veil will not be too much and there is a chance of rain. However, during Agni Nakshatra period, it is good to drink more water and take bath twice a day.
Already, 18 districts including Vellore, Kanchipuram, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Erode, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Trichy, Ariyalur, Perambalur, etc. have been warned by the Meteorological Department that the heat will be scorching.
Due to this, an administrative orange warning has been issued that today and tomorrow the heat may increase up to 5 degrees above normal in some places. Avoid going out unnecessarily.
