Tamil Nadu Police: The Tamil Nadu government has released a report on the various schemes implemented such as Rs 5000 corona stipend for 1.17 lakh police personnel, new police stations worth Rs 44.46 crore.
Appreciating the Tamil Nadu Police for their outstanding contribution in maintaining law and order in Tamil Nadu, the Government of Tamil Nadu has published various programs implemented for the police. According to the government notification in this regard, 1.17 lakh police personnel have been given Rs 58.50 crore corona relief at the rate of Rs 5,000. New vehicles have been purchased for the new Avadi and Tambaram police stations at a cost of Rs.44.46 crore.
Also, 58 new women police stations, 21 new fire rescue stations, 1 lakh books for the use of jail inmates have been provided. The report also mentioned that 42,224 human lives and property worth Rs 605 crore have been recovered from the fire and flood.
Next, it is mentioned about the events that the Tamil Nadu Police has completed without any law and order problems since Chief Minister M.K.Stalin took charge in the DMK regime.

To prevent crimes against women, 39 new women’s police stations have been established in all police divisions and 19 new women’s police stations in Koyambedu, Kotturpuram, Puzhal, etc., in the name of the Chief Minister’s order. In March last year, the 50th anniversary of the appointment of women constables in the Tamil Nadu Police was held as a golden jubilee ceremony at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai under the leadership of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin.
2,882 police tenements at a cost of Rs 481.92 crore, 42 police stations at a cost of Rs 42.88 crore and 14 new police buildings at a cost of Rs 84.53 crore have been constructed.
Development of libraries for prison inmates has been set up at a cost of Rs 2.80 crore on behalf of the Department of Prisons and Correctional Works. From 2001 to 2023, the Tamil Nadu Fire Department has handled 61,288 fire calls and 2,57,209 rescue calls, saving 4,224 human lives and property worth Rs 605 crore, the Tamil Nadu government has released a report on the projects undertaken by the DMK.
