Minister of Health and Wellbeing M. Subramanian inaugurated the Advanced Emergency Department at Kuppusamy Naidu Hospital in Papanayakanpalayam area of Coimbatore.
Following this, Minister Ma spoke in the program. Subramanian said, “Kuppusamy Naidu Hospital is one of the medical achievements. This hospital has created awareness about cancer 10 years ago.
This cancer is now more prevalent due to dietary habits.
In four districts including Erode and Kanyakumari, cancer screening is conducted for everyone above 18 years of age.
Here cancer is increasing due to reasons including dye waste. More than 110 people have been diagnosed with cancer in this medical test. Cancer detection work is about to start all over Tamil Nadu.
So far 36 medical schemes are functioning in Tamil Nadu. More than 10 projects are functioning at an unprecedented scale in the world,” he said.
