Airtel and Jio companies offer some trick options to users. Airtel is offering a data loan facility and Jio is offering a free data voucher option. This can be used when you need data at a critical time and cannot recharge.
How to get free data on Jio?
Jio used to offer emergency data voucher facility to prepaid users, but this has been discontinued. However, MyJio users can get free data using the below trick.
Open My Jio app and click on Play&Win. After that you have to click on an option and answer the question asked in it. After this you can get up to 6GB of free data.
Airtel Data Loan
Unlike Jio, Airtel continues to offer data loans to both 2G and 4G users. User can call ‘52141’ or dial ‘*567*3#’ to get 1GB data loan. User must have been in network for 3 months to get this option. 1 GB data comes with a validity of two days.
When you recharge your number with a new data pack, Airtel will deduct 1 GB of data from it. You cannot get data loan again before the pending loan is cleared.
