Mariinsky Palace
It is the official palace of the President of Ukraine. It is built in St. Petersburg. This palace was built in 1744 when it was under the rule of Russia. It was built by Elizabeth Petrovna, who was very famous at that time. The architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli built the castle under his orders. Until now, this fort was damaged by a fire in the 19th century and once by a world war, and has been reconstructed based on the old pictures only.
Old Museum
The palace once functioned as an agricultural school and later as a museum. A large park has also been established in this palace at the request of Queen Elizabeth Petrovna. The palace is situated on a hilltop surrounded by parks and overlooks the river bank, so it easily catches the eye of the directors.
There are many artistic paintings in this palace. They are painted by Ukrainian and foreign artists. It has 55 rooms downstairs and 26 rooms upstairs. US Presidents Nixon, Bill Clinton, Bush, and various other heads of state have also visited this palace.

Grand chest and tiled entrance hall. Beyond that is a beautiful hall with a magnificent statue of Alexander. Every room is decorated with colorful paintings, expensive carpets, lights and colors everywhere – floor, wall, floor.
The main chamber of this palace is its 17 meter circular chamber. It is built with more than thirty giant double row pillars. It is designed to let sunlight in directly through the dome at the top. Similarly, all the rooms like the Chancellor’s office, Parliamentary Education Center, Assembly Hall, Dining Hall, Chancellor’s quarters are filled with works of art and old treasures of the country.
Similarly, when looking at the main rooms of this palace, all the sacred sites around it and the river bank are visible.
Exterior of the Mariinsky Palace
It is not surprising that various Indian films are exhibited here as its exterior is also a large area with a park. Also, you can visit the State Heritage Museum, Military Museum, Yusupov Palace, Central Novel Museum, Winter Palace in the vicinity of this palace. However, as the war is at its peak, neither tourists nor shooting are allowed there.
