June 1 is the last date to apply for the 10th class supplementary examination; Exam Schedule Release

The Directorate of Examinations has informed that those who have failed in the 10th general examination and are unable to write the examination are invited to write the immediate supplementary examination.

The Tamil Nadu Class 10th exam results were released yesterday (May 10). A supplementary examination has been announced for those students who failed/did not appear in this examination.

The press release issued in this regard states that: Applications are invited through the official website from the candidates who have failed / failed to appear in the April 2024 Class X general examinations for the July 2024 Class X supplementary examinations.

April 2024 10th Class Public Examination as school students who failed / failed to attend may visit their school in person to re-write the failed subjects from 16.05.2024 (Thursday) to 01.06.2024 (Saturday) (except Sunday) from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. Apply within hours.

Eligible individual candidates who wish to apply for the July 2024 Class X Supplementary Examination and those candidates who have not passed/appeared for the April 2024 Class X General Examination from 16.05.2024 (Thursday) to 01.06.2024 (Saturday) from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm (except Sunday). Apply through the service centers set up by the education district within hours.

Direct individual candidates (those who are appearing for all subjects for the first time) who will apply for the July 2024 Class 10 supplementary examination and who have already failed in the Science subject in the old syllabus prior to 2012, and those who have not passed / failed to appear in the Science subject test in the April 2024 Class 10 General Examination will be required to attend the Science Practice Course. To enroll visit the concerned District Education Offices from 16.05.2024 to 24.05.2024 (excluding Sundays) and pay the fee of Rs.125 in cash and register the names and get the admit card. Only on presentation of this admit card will they be admitted to the science course.

After receiving the acceptance slip for the practical examination from the district education office, individual candidates should go to the service center (NODAL CENTRE) on the above days to apply for the conceptual examination and register online by attaching the acceptance slip for registration of the practical examination and the copies of the mark certificates of the previous examination. After registration, Hall Ticket can be downloaded using the application number in the acknowledgment slip issued by the service center.

Candidates who have undergone practical training should contact their respective District Education Officer and write the practical examination regularly after knowing the days and center details of the practical examination.

Candidates can know the details of Government Examinations Service Centers set up for online registration of applications, details of Service Centers set up by education district and eligibility and instructions for individual candidates for online registration of applications on the website www.dge.tn.gov.in. Also, information can be obtained from all Principal Education Officer offices, all District Education Officer offices and all Government Examinations Assistant Director offices.

10th Class Exam Fee

Exam fee is Rs.125

On-line registration fee is Rs.70

Total fee is Rs.195

The examination fee and online registration fee should be paid in cash at the service center/school.

Candidates who fail to apply for July 2024 Class 10th Supplementary Examination between 16.05.2024 (Thursday) to 01.06.2024 (Saturday) must apply online from 03.06.2024 (Monday) to 04.06.2024 (Tuesday) with appropriate fee in Special Admission Scheme.

Special Admission Fee Rs.500 (Exemption from this fee for students who failed / failed to attend Government and Government Aided Schools in the academic year 2023-2024)

After registering the application online, the candidates will be issued the admit card. Candidates should keep the Admit Card safe as it will be possible to download the Hall Ticket (Hall Ticket) on the date announced later by the Government Examination Department using the application number mentioned in it.

Candidates can find out about the exam center allotted to them in the exam hall admit card.

It has been announced that the permission given to individual candidates to appear in the examination is temporary till the results are published and the results of the examination will be published only after examining the application and eligibility of the individual candidates.
