  • Bark = 2, Cloves = 4, Biryani leaves = 2, Cardamom = 2
  • Anise = 1 tbsp
  • Cashews =10
  • Poppy seeds = 1 spoon
  • Onions =10
  • Huge onion =3
  • Tomatoes=3
  • Mint = half a handful
  • Few coriander leaves
  • Coconut = half lid
  • Jaggery = half spoon
  • Chilli powder = 2 tbsp
  • Coriander = 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala = 1 spoon
  • Turmeric powder = half spoon
  • Ginger garlic paste = 2 tbsp

Recipe:

Pour oil within the cooker and add the bark, cloves, cardamom and biryani leaves and fry the large onion finely and add tomatoes.

Soak coconut, poppy seeds, cashews, aniseed and grind them in a mixer. When the tomatoes are fried, add the ginger garlic paste and stir. Then add the chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and turmeric powder and stir.

Now add the mint leaves and saute and grind the coconut paste, add required quantity of water and add salt and let it cook dinner for a whistle on medium flame.

When the whistle stops, add coriander leaves and a little bit jaggery and stir and the scrumptious salna is prepared. It may be eaten with rice, paratha chapati, idli, dosa and so on. This may be finished even when greens should not obtainable.
