Elon Musk’s X website is developing a TV app to rival YouTube. It is reported that this TV app is currently undergoing various stages of testing and will be introduced to smart TVs in the first phase. The TV app is also said to be developing to watch longer videos.
Accordingly, it was reported that this XTV app will first be available for smart TVs running on Fire OS (Amazon) and Tizen OS (Samsung) and will later be expanded to other platforms. Elon Musk had recently announced this exclusive X TV app on his X website.
So the XTV app has a YouTube-like design. The company is saying that the X TV app will be a competitor to YouTube. In this case, CEO Linda Yaccarino has confirmed that the dedicated TV app that Website X is developing will challenge YouTube.
