Chennai: The Nanguneri student, who suffered from caste violence, scored good marks in the Plus 2 examination, and was approached by film director B. Ranjith personally called and praised.
In Nanguneri of Nellai district on August 9 last year, a student named Chinnadurai and his younger sister were attacked with sickles by students of the same school due to caste hatred. They were seriously injured and were admitted to the hospital and their health was recovered by the government.
Meanwhile, the student was admitted to Thuya Saveriar Higher Secondary School in Palayamgottai, Chinnadurai, as caste-related issues would arise again in the same school. His younger sister was admitted to another school there. As he was injured in the attack, Chinnadurai, a student, wrote the quarterly examination with the help of teachers.
After that, regardless of his injury, he studied Chinnadurai day and night for the Plus 2 examination. In this case, the student Chinnadurai has passed the recently conducted Plus 2 examination by securing 469 marks out of 600. In this case, the principal M.K. Stalin called today in person and congratulated him.
