In this election manifesto, it was said that only the photos of Telugu Desam and Janasena party leaders were included and Prime Minister Modi’s photo was not included. This created quite a stir in the political circles. Also, Andhra state BJP in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh, who attended the function yesterday, refused to accept the election promise statement and became a controversy.

Criticizing the incident, YSR Congress president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu’s photos were prominently displayed over PM Modi’s photo in the manifesto, and before releasing their manifesto, they received a call from the BJP headquarters. It is not acceptable to have PM Modi’s photo on it. He criticized that it showed how unfulfilled were the BJP’s promises.

Explaining about this election manifesto controversy, Chandrasekhara Rao said that the National Democratic Alliance has an election manifesto at the national level. We have issued this manifesto only after consultation with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He mentioned that the opinions of all the coalition parties in the election field have been included in it.
