Government Schools: 91.32 percent pass. 95.49 percent pass rate in government aided schools. Private schools pass 96.7 percent. 397 government schools and 2,478 private schools achieved 100 percent pass rate.

Tirupur district has topped the Plus-2 general examination with 97.45 percent passing. With 97.42 percent pass percentage, Erode and Sivagangai districts have been ranked 2nd. With 97.25 percent pass percentage, Ariyalur district is ranked 3rd. Thiruvannamalai has secured the last position with 90.47 percent pass percentage.

Science subjects – 96.35% passed. Commerce subjects-92.46% passed. Arts streams – 85.67% passed. Vocational Sections – 85.85% passed.

Pass percentage in major subjects

The students who studied in the science department have passed more. Physics – 98.43%, Chemistry – 99.14%, Biology – 99.35%, Mathematics – 98.57%, Botany – 98.86%. Similarly, Computer Science – 99.80%, Commerce – 97.77%, Accountancy – 96.61% passed.

Total number of inmates who appeared for the exam- 125. The number of those who passed it was 115 (92%).

You can apply for revaluation and re-examination from tomorrow

Directorate of State Examinations has informed that those who have appeared for the Plus 2 general examination who are interested in revaluation and resiting can apply from tomorrow (May 7) and the students who have not passed can apply for the supplementary examination from tomorrow. It has also been informed that the provisional score certificate for Plus 2 students will be issued on the 9th.
