Delhi : Both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have posted their greetings on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Raksha Bandhan is celebrated across the country today. It is a very popular festival especially in northern states. Raksha Bandhan expresses the love and protection between brother and sister.
During this festival, sisters express their love by tying a rope called ‘Ragi’ to their brothers’ hands. In this case, Congress President Rahul Gandhi shared his greetings on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on the social networking site X.
In it, “I extend my greetings to all the people of the country on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. This festival is a symbol of undying love and affection between brother and sister. May this protective rope always keep your sacred relationship strong.”
Also in the post, he shared a picture of himself with his sister Priyanka Gandhi. Following this, Priyanka Gandhi also shared a photo taken with Rahul Gandhi on her X site page and congratulated her.
