Rajiv Gandhi Hospital – Medical students protest and rally by wearing black patches

An announcement has been made on behalf of the Indian Doctors Association that they are going to protest tomorrow against the brutal killing of a first-year medical student in the Government Medical College in Kolkata, demanding punishment for the culprit and ensuring the safety of doctors across the country.

Meanwhile, in order to condemn the death of a medical student in Kolkata, senior doctors and medical students of Madras Medical College wearing black patches visited the hospital premises as a peaceful rally and registered their condemnation.

Speaking to the media, the practicing doctors said that medical safety should be ensured for the doctors and that the killer should be given due punishment in the case of the medical student’s murder. Further, the doctors protested by raising slogans of condemnation and carrying banners.
