Chief Minister Stalin today launched the Tamil Butalavan scheme in Coimbatore, which provides Rs.1000 per month to students enrolled in higher education courses in Tamil Nadu government schools from 6th to Plus 2.
Stalin spoke at the function, “Rs. 1000 was credited to the bank account last night under the scheme of Tamil Putulavan scheme. Tamilputhulavan project will be the project that will make our name in history.
In order to increase the number of students in higher education, Rs.1000 will be given to those who study not only in government schools but also in government aided schools, and students who study vocational education including government ITIs after class 10, if they pursue higher education.
This scheme was brought with the objective of making the poor students achievers. Monthly allowance only for women? Can’t we? asked the students. Accepting this, the Tamilputhulvan project has been started. As a father, being one of the family, I have developed the Tamilputulvan project.
Students who have completed school education should pursue higher education. My dream is that not a single student should go to higher education. Students should take advantage of Tamil Nadu government schemes. I have more faith in you than you have in me.
