Former Minister Senthil Balaji was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on June 14 last year in the case of the Prohibition of Illegal Money Transfer Act. After this, Senthil Balaji was taken into custody and the Enforcement Department conducted an investigation, and a charge sheet was also filed.

Following this, former minister Senthil Balaji has been in judicial custody since last year. Senthil Balaji’s multiple bail pleas were rejected by the Madras court. As Senthil Balaji’s court custody is over today, he was produced in court today through video.

At that time, Judge Alli of Chennai District Principal Sessions Court extended the judicial custody of former minister Senthil Balaji until April 30. Therefore, it is noteworthy that Senthil Balaji’s judicial custody has been extended for the 35th time.

Meanwhile, the Chennai District Principal Sessions Court has informed that an order will be issued on the 30th on the petition filed by Senthil Balaji seeking release from the enforcement department case. Further, the court has allowed Senthil Balaji’s defense to file arguments in this case.
