Skoda Slavia Facelift: Exterior Changes
Now, for the first time, the Slavia facelift has been spied testing in India. It seems that the updated model may get a new design at the front and rear. Mainly the front, headlamps, grille and bumper are going to be redesigned.
As well as the rear, the tail lights and rear bumper are expected to be redesigned. There is no major change in lateral areas. It looks like the same design as the current model will be carried over to the facelift. It seems that the facelift will also get new alloy wheels.
Skoda Slavia Facelift: New Features
If the Slavia model needs an update, it’s in the amenities. While the Slavia’s competitors offer various features like a panoramic sunroof, rear disc brakes, 360-degree camera, secondary ADAS safety features, the Slavia does not offer any of these features. Importantly, ADAS safety features are now offered even in low-cost cars.
Automakers are making sure to include ADAS features in their newly launched facelifts. Hence, ADAS facilities are likely to be offered in the Slavia facelift as well. It is to be noted that none of the models currently sold by Skoda in India are equipped with ADAS.
Skoda Slavia Facelift: Engine
It seems that the new Slavia facelift will have a change only in terms of design and features. As far as the engine is concerned, the same engine used in the current model is going to be offered in the facelift model as well.
The current model is powered by a 3-cylinder 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that churns out 114 hp of power and 178 Nm of torque, and a four-cylinder 1.5-litre TSI EVO turbo petrol engine that churns out 148 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options are offered with the first engine, while 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox options are offered with the second engine.
Skoda Slavia: Price
This Slavia sedan model is currently sold in three variants namely Active, Ambition and Style. Skoda Slavia is being sold in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.63 lakh to Rs 19.12 lakh. The upcoming Slavia facelifted version is expected to be priced slightly higher than this.
