Smashed voting machines.. Sensation in Andhra elections.!

Election2024 : In Chittoor polling station in Andhra state, voting machines were broken in a dispute between two parties.

Polling for the 4th phase of Lok Sabha elections is going on today (May 13). Voting has been going on briskly since this morning in 96 constituencies in 10 states including 9 states and 1 union territory.

Elections to 175 Assembly constituencies and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra state are being held in a single phase. The conflict between the ruling YSR Congress Party and the Telugu Desam Party, which is in alliance with the BJP and the Janasena Party, continues.

Clashes continue between YSR Congress workers and Telugu Desam Party workers in a few areas on polling day today. Voting machines were smashed in a clash between two party leaders at the polling station in Rendala village of Palnadu district in Chittoor constituency.

In this incident, both the parties got injured in a scuffle and there is a lot of tension there. Similarly, there are reports of tense situation in the polling stations of Kadapa and Anantapur constituencies. Due to this, additional police have been deployed there and security has been strengthened.
