Naam Tamilar Party chief coordinator Seeman has urged that the Tamil Nadu government should take strict action against those who disrupt social peace.
In a statement issued in this regard, he said, “The series of massacres and caste attacks happening in Tirunelveli, Tenkasi and Tuticorin districts is shocking. The tyrannical tendencies of the anti-social elements of killing in broad daylight, indulging in revenge killings and committing caste-based violence have created great fear among the people of South District. It is a shame that the condition of Tamil Nadu has deteriorated under the rule of DMK to such an extent that violence and murders are happening very naturally.
Deepak Raja, a resident of Vagaikulam, Tirunelveli district, was hacked to death in broad daylight at Palayamgottai on May 20. Where did the killers get the courage to kill casually on a busy street when this gruesome murder was allegedly carried out as a revenge? Is this Tamil Nadu? No! Uttar Pradesh? Is this regime where law and order is broken, the dawn regime for the people?
Cheers! With all the problems and disenfranchisement surrounding the Tamil community, the unity and unity of the Tamils is essential. In such an environment, the caste conflicts and separatism that divide the Tamil community are a curse for this race. Such carnage by the cold political centers and their puppets of anti-social elements by creating enmity among the working people has disturbed the peace of the people of South District.
The DMK government’s action of making fun of such atrocities which undermine social harmony is highly condemnable. Therefore, on behalf of the Tamil party, I urge the DMK government to pay serious attention to this matter and stop the violent acts in the southern districts with the help of the law and to take strict action against those who disrupt social peace.
