Lok Sabha Constituency: While the counting of election votes is going on briskly, the DMK candidate Tamilachi Thangapandian has secured victory in Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha constituency South Chennai by securing 3,44,167 votes. It has been reported that Tamilachi Thangapandian has won by a margin of more than one lakh votes.
BJP’s star candidate Tamilisai, who contested against him, is in 2nd position with 2,03,693 votes, Jayavardhan, who was the face of AIADMK, is in 3rd position with 1,13,627 votes, and Tamilselvi of Naam Tamilar Party is in 4th position with 53,675 votes.
