The Collector immediately fulfilled the demand of the Scheduled Tribes – people are happy

Listed people in Madurai and Usilambatti filed a petition with the District Collector asking for sewage canal and road facility. People are appreciating the district collector who walked half a kilometer and personally investigated and found an immediate solution.

A public relations camp was held at Kuravadi village near Usilambatti in Madurai district.

Madurai District Collector Sangeetha, Additional Collector Monika, Assistant Collector (Training) Vaishnavi, Usilambatti MLA Ayyappan and Kotachyar Ravichandran were present.

Madurai District Collector Sangeetha inaugurated the event of providing welfare assistance worth 2.16 crores to 231 beneficiaries in this camp.

There they complained that there is no proper sewage canal and roads in the area where the Scheduled Tribes live in Kuravadi village and they are suffering a lot due to encroachment by some people.

Accepting the demand of the Andamas, Madurai District Collector Sangeeta immediately walked about half a kilometer away and inspected the areas where the Scheduled Tribes live and ordered the immediate removal of encroaching weeds. He also issued an order to the officials of the Rural Development Department to construct roads and sewage canals.

The District Collector immediately investigated and resolved the public demand and has been praised by many.
