At 6.00 am today (19) elephants entered Andharamandiya village on Hambekamua Monaragala Road in Palangoda and caused huge damage to farmers’ crops.
Also, a three-wheeler that was going into the village was also attacked. At that time, all 6 people who were traveling in it escaped and survived.
The villagers said that they have informed the officials of the Forest Sivarasi Department about this matter.
