In an interview with a private YouTube channel, Scott Styris said, “Subman Gill needs to develop his own game. While he has played well for India in some important matches, it is very important that he plays well in all three formats.
Only if he develops all these experiences can he be appointed as the next captain in the future. Focus more fully on your game. In the current scenario, someone like Gill cannot be an immediate captain choice. So, we have to wait some more time in between searching for a natural leader like him.
I believe someone like Gill can stay in this role for more than 10 years. But he was not ready for that now. , so it was a wise decision to bring in someone with more experience. Suryakumar Yadav is currently in a position to take over that responsibility. His selection to captain India in the upcoming T20 World Cup is indeed brilliant.
