The National Examinations Agency (NDA) on Wednesday announced that it has decided to cancel the UGC-NET (Professor Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test) examination.
“In order to maintain the utmost transparency and sanctity of the examination process, the Ministry of Education, Government of India has decided to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 examination. A new examination will be conducted and the information will be shared separately, it said.
Meanwhile, the matter is being handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for thorough investigation,” Bi said.
The UGC-NET exam was held on Tuesday, June 18, across 1205 exam centers in 317 cities across the country. More than 11 lakh students participated in this exam.
Government is committed to ensure the sanctity of examinations and protect the interest of students.
