He is a businessman living in America. Studied in Telugu medium school till 8th standard. Studied at IIT Chennai 53 years ago, in the 1970s. At that time he was a graduate of M. Tech Aerospace Engineering. Joined the Hoffman Company in the US and rose to the rank of Chief Engineer. He did his MBA from Harvard University in 1984.

Hoffman later served as CEO of the company. In 1990, he started his first company, Siva Technologies, in New York. Siva Technologies grew to become the number one company under the leadership of Krishna Sivukula. In the year 1997, the branch of the company was started in Bangalore. He started a company called Indo-US MIM in America.

He also started a company specializing in advanced mass spectroscopy. He continued his life in America. Krishna Sivukula has noticed that many famous businessmen there often donate to the educational institutions they studied. He was attracted by this and decided to donate to IIT Chennai where he studied.
