Arvind Kejriwal : Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal was recently arrested by the CBI in connection with the liquor policy violation case in Delhi. Further, Arvind Kejriwal had appealed against the CBI arrest and judicial custody in the Delhi High Court.
Thus, this petition came up for hearing in the court today. Following this, the petition came up for hearing in the Delhi High Court today as an urgent case. CBI arrested me and jailed me in the case of liquor policy violation, which is against the law.
Therefore, Arvind Kejriwal had said that this action of the CBI should be banned. Subsequently, the judges who investigated the case have ordered the CBI to respond to Arvind Kejriwal’s petition within 7 days.
Following that, the hearing in this regard has been adjourned to July 17. Arvind Kejriwal, who was already in judicial custody till July 3, was arrested by the CBI on June 23 from Tihar Jail.
