Thursday’s sharp fall in the stock market has affected the net worth of India’s richest men, Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani. Both have fallen in the list of top billionaires.
India’s Sensex-Nifty fell sharply on Thursday due to the ongoing war between Iran and Israel. As a result, shares of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance and Gautam Adani’s Adani Group of companies fell sharply.
Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries stock fell 3.95% to close at 2813.95 points as a result of the fall in the stock market.
Similarly, the fall in the stock market has reduced Gautam Adani’s net worth to $2.93 billion or around Rs. 24,600 crores down to $100 billion. Also, in the list of the world’s richest people, he slipped from 14th to 17th place.
It is estimated that due to the fall in the stock market, Indian businessmen Mukesh Ambani has lost Rs 36,000 crore and Gautam Adani Rs 24,000 crore.
